why the fat lace?

The fat lace in sneakers is one of the most iconic symbols of early 80s hip hop style. It's the era I first fell in love with the music and started learning about the culture and its elements. I still wear fat laces in my sneakers as part of my connection to the culture I've been part of for over 30 years, but I'm not wed to the past. Innovation is the essence of hip hop culture. With a tip of the hat to the pioneers, I've freaked the funk on these stylish lids to give you something brand new.

If i don't see the color combination i wanted...?

Hit me up with details of what you're dreaming about and I can help make it real. If you have a photo of a particular item of clothing, or something else you want to coordinate with, send it to me at info@TrueHeadzClothing.com or use the contact form at the bottom of the page. I love custom orders!

I prefer fitted caps to snapbacks - can i get that?

Because snapbacks are adjustable, they're better to keep as stocked items. I can get fitted caps too if you prefer them, so just send me a custom request including your size, and I'll show you what I can make for you.
